When we first came to Lyon, we stayed in the hotel Reine Astrid. In fact
we had a mini-suite with bathroom, kitchen, living and bedroom. The view from the hotel
was excellent. The only disadvantages were
 | The noise (street noise). As we were on the streetside (blvd. des
Belges), we heared every street sound, from early in the morning untill deep into the
night;

| The ventilation system. As some of you know, I (Alwin) am a little
sensitive to hay-feaver. In the hotel, I was always sneezing like crazy. That never
stopped. After we left the hotel and during work, I was OK. My suspicion is that the
ventilated air was not filtered i.e. there was a lot of dust floating around.

The view from the hotelroom was incredibly nice. Just behind
the trees is the parc T�te d'Or, a big park with a zoo. During the weekend when the
weather is nice, a lot of people walk or picknick there. |
